Tannin Removal

| All Auto Backwashing Tannin Filter systems have the following components: (unless otherwise specified)

Specified resin tank size with 1" riser tube and top distributor basket
|
|
Specified amount of Tannin resin
|
|
Fleck 5600 or 2510 3/4" Timer Control valve with your choice of one of the following six connections: 3/4" or 1" Noryl Yoke, 3/4" or 1" Stainless Steel Yoke, 3/4" or 1" Stainless Steel Bypass Valve

|
15x17x36 Rectangular or 18x33 Round Brine Tank with grid, 2310 float assembly and safety overflow
|
|
Fleck valve-to-brine tank tubing
|
|
The only item you have to supply is the 1/2" inside diameter drain line from the valve to your drain. |

NOTE: Tannin Filter systems will not work well if there is iron present in the incoming water. Iron removal should occur prior to use of a Tannin Filter system. In addition, water hardness must be less than 10 grains per gallon and tannin levels not greater than 3 ppm. |
