Thought you might be interested in seeing my finished product. I used 1” PEX to match my main water line common off my expansion tank and Shark Bite connectors to make all the connections. I put in ball valve bypasses as you can see off of the main water line to isolate the system if needed. I ran the ½ drain lines up and into a 1 1/2 “ drain from a downstairs bathroom sink I could access from the basement where this system is. The install went pretty smoothly; had to redo 2 joints for leaks but it is fine now.
Have had this up and running for about 6 weeks; the system is running flawlessly, my water is clear and no more buying bottled water to drink!! Thanks so much for your good advice and guidance with this system; I’d highly recommend your company to anyone.

Good morning,
Being a first time amateur installer/plumber, I have installed both the Clack WS1 water softener and the Fleck 7000 carbon filter successfully. They have been working great for about two weeks now without a single problem.
The Clack WS1 was a very user-friendly valve to install and program while the Fleck 7000 was a very simple valve to install but the programming interface could be a little more intuitive. Regardless, the setup of these water filters went very smoothly. The hardest part of the installation was to do the plumbing to connect these 2 units to the water line, as a 20-foot long plumbing loop had to be installed to get to the location where I wanted them to be located.
Overall, I am very pleased with the products as well as the service I have received so far from Ohio Pure Water Co. I specifically appreciate talking to Dave, Charlie, and Jean for this project. To show my appreciation to you folks, I have taken some pictures and attached them here for your viewing pleasure. Thank you.

Thank you both for your help in selection help and final installation tweaks for my Fleck 5600SE. Everything went smooth as silk!
You'll notice in the photos that I doubled the length of the copper flex lines to accommodate for the taller height of the Flex 5600, replacing my old Kenmore that was somewhat tucked under the stairwell. Also, living in Northern California, note the earthquake strap...just in case.
Having dealt with a salt block before, I prudently moved the brine tank out front for accessibility. I used 3/4-inch pvc for the valve drain line which has a run of about 20 feet. Finally, that's the brine tank safety overflow that runs through the wall to my bone dry crawl space.

Hi Mr. Moore,
I went ahead and ordered a 64000 grain water softener with the Fleck 5600SE metered valve. I went for the larger unit because in the summer months we usually have five people and up to 10 on weekends.
The larger unit seemed prudent. I have to comment that the installation went very smoothly. The instructions I downloaded were very clear and comprehensive. The stainless steel flexible connectors made the installation a snap.
By the way, this unit replaced a Culligan installed in 1976, 31 years ago when the house was built. It still worked, but the valves were leaking (weeping) through the discharge tubing constantly. Culligan wanted $180.00 for new parts and another $150.00 to install them, and I still would have had a 31 year old unit.
That money went a long way toward purchasing a brand new Ohio Pure Water Company system. I couldn't be happier.

My softener arrived quickly and was easy to install. However, there was a problem that occured during the first regen. Some of the resin was blown out of the drain during the backwash.
I contacted Ohio Pure Water Co and explained my problem to Mr. Charlie Moore. Mr. Moore was great to deal with. We discussed the problem and decided that I needed to lower the backwash flow rate. Mr. Moore rushed me the new part (back wash flow control orfice). I installed it and the probled was instantly cured. Mr. Moore then sent me more than enough resin to replace what was lost down the drain.
I now am enjoying the best water we have ever had in the 30 yrs we have lived here. It took me a long time and a lot of research before I took a chance and ordered my softener online. I'm very happy with it and Ohio Pure Water Co.

Installing the water softener with the instructions that were given online made it easy to do.
The instructions even showed me how to fill my tanks and adjust the float rod in the brine tank. There was nothing missing from the instructions. They were long but very helpful.

After a few frustrating days of calling "Fleck" dealers all over the United States (including the company which installed our unit) and receiving answers such as, "we don't sell parts, we are too busy, we'll call you back later, leave a message, that requires a service call, etc," my web browser displayed your company's website.

Here are some photos of our new, model 2510 water softener that my wife and I installed yesterday in less then four hours. Notice the suds in the sink. My sister who just arrived last night couldn't believe how much rinseing it took to get the soap off of her face. The water is drinkable from the tap, may be able to get rid of our reverse osmosis unit. No clorine now.

I am no plumber, but due to your web site, offering very simple easy to follow instructions and pictures, the installation was a breeze. Only took a couple of hours total time. This installation was a replacement for my 10 year old Cole-Massey softener. When my iron filter gives out, I will replace it with your filter of course.

As promised, a picture of my new water softener. Believe it or not, there is a furnance, tankless water heater and the 2510 in a space the size of a small closet. We had a 50 gallon water heater and no room for the softener.
It (the water heater) was old and we replaced it with an Aquastar 125B tankless heater. Not only do we have unlimited hot water, but unlimited, soft hot water. Again, thanks for everything. I can't imagine calling Sears or Home Depot with a regeneration question and getting any kind of a real answer.
You are a top rate dealer and I will gladly recommend you to all of my friends.

The Fleck 2510 arrived in 3 days. The online instructions made installation simple. The same day email response appears to be standard. If you can install a sprinkler system with an electronic timer you can install one of these water softeners.

I recently purchased a water softener system from you, and I just want to let you know how satisfied I am with your service and products. I ordered the system on a weekend; you shipped it on Monday and I had it on Tuesday. I put the system in the following weekend and it works great. It's a 48,000 grain unit with the Fleck 2510 Demand Controller. I had considered buying my new softener from a local company, but they wanted double your price for the same equipment (installed). | I like your website and prices so much I decided to do a *reverse* testimonial. :-) A certain home with hard water was simply left untreated for some years. Why bother? Here is a close up of *inside* some 3/4 inch copper pipe: Just imagine drinking water through that! Yummy! So simply do nothing and you too will get very good at replacing pipe - one piece at a time or all at once - throughout your entire home! It is good to know how to do these things, and copper isn't all THAT expensive anyway. Same goes with water heaters. Nuttin' to it: Just replace *everything* as often as necessary. My Ohio Pure Water installation. It has a whole house filter, water softener, and RO system. The salt tank is in the garage so I don't have to haul salt downstairs to the basement. I just had to drill a hole in the rim joist to pass the brine mix to the softener. I plumbed the RO system with a splitter so that one branch goes to the kitchen RO faucet and the other goes to the refrigerator icemaker / water dispenser. It was a very easy install using the CPVC components since my house was done in CPVC. I made sure I used shutoff valves that were full flow without reduced area.

They had a very old system from a local water company that was regenerated via a timer and would regenerate every 3 days. The system was very undersized. The water they receive in their home is from public supply but from underground springs and has a TWH of 24.

Ohio Pure Water has a very comprehensive web site, great sales and installation support, and excellent prices. But what makes them a truly great company is their no hassle, no quibble product support when there's a problem. In my case, I had not one, but two problems with my purchase.
I bought a greensand filter with a 2510 control and a water softener with a 5600 control. The 2510 came configured incorrectly - human errors happen. OPWC immediately sent me the correct 2510 and sent UPS to pick up the incorrect one - no additional charge.
After my systems were installed, I noticed a problem with the backwash flow rate with the 5600 control - mechanical problem. OPWC sent me a new control which solved the problem. Again, I was not charged shipping in either direction.
I had planned to by a Reverse Osmosis system from another reliable company I know, but after the support I experienced with OPWC, I bought it from OPWC instead!
With this kind of after-sale support, I will definitely recommend OPWC to anyone who is looking for water treatment equipment.

Just wanted to drop a line to say thanks with my testimonial. My first call to Ohio Pure Water was to order a comprehensive H2O test kit. Jean walked me through the order and shipped it right away. After testing my water, I called back to get a recommendation. After discussing my options with Charlie, I purchased a Greensand Filter System. The product delivered the next day. I put together the treatment system in one evening and plumbed it into my water supply the next. My wife and I could not beleive the difference in our water! It is wonderful!
I was quoted $2500 installed for a treatment system from Kinetico, a well known company. I tested my water and installed the Ohio Pure Water system for under $1000. A week later, my Father-in-law was so impressed, he asked me to install a system in his home. After testing his water, and discussing the options again with Charlie, we went with the same system. Again, I ordered on a Thursday. It delivered on Friday. I installed it that weekend.
Two weeks later, he mentioned to me that he now has the best water he has ever had in his house (32+years).

I received a water softener from you about four weeks ago. The installation instructions you provided were a breeze. I was apprehensive about having to install the resin, but this was a ten minute job. With my limited plumbing abilities, the installation took about three hours to complete.
The Fleck 5600SE valve is terrific and the unit functions flawlessly. The cost of the softener was less than half of what the local softener companies are asking here in New Jersey. Thanks for providing a good product at a very fair price!

I just installed a new terminator system & a water softener. Not knowing a lot about installing these systems, I was a little hesitant. However, I had just received two quotes from two local water companies and both quotes were over $3,200. (I had actually booked an installation prior to finding your site and later canceled it.)
After canceling my installation, my water guy had actually called me back and stated that I was most likely not comparing the same system and valves that he had recommend. That afternoon I stopped by his store with the info that I had downloaded and was told that it was in fact the same system and with the same Fleck valves.
That being said, his system would have cost me $3,200 and your system cost me around $1,400 +/-. The difference was around $1,800. The idea of saving $1,800 along with your money back guarantee and technical support was a no brainer for me. As far as the install, if you can sweat a pipe you can install this system.
The system was so simple to put in, that you can pretty much install it without reading the instructions. As far as my water goes, it's perfect.
After 15 years of dealing with two different water companies and repeated problems, I now have perfect water.

It pays to shop around! I was in the market to replace an old Culligan system and received two estimates from local vendors. One of the quotes was for a 64K AutoTrol system. "Only $1,900 installed! Sign now and I'll take 100 dollars off the price!"
I decided to do a little research; I learned that my water needs would only require a 40K system, max. So, what was this person selling me?
After reading through your website, I felt I found what I was looking for. I called to discuss my needs, and returned the next day and placed my order online.
The system arrived 3 days later, securely packed and undamaged. Installation went without a hitch! The documentation on your website is right-on, simple and to the point, with good pictures too!
Your company provided me with good service, support and fair prices and my new Fleck 5600 is providing our home with Iron free soft water once again.

You should know that we are very pleased with our new Ohio Pure unit. Water in the Pittsburgh area is the hardest in the country and we could hardly wait to bring in soft water for our daily use.
I do appreciate very much your patience in helping me to set the capacity meter on the unit. As I mentioned to you, I brought in an experienced plumber to connect the water lines. The thing I worried most about doing the job myself was a tortuous drip, drip, drip. In reality, I feel I could have done it myself. But, it was worth the extra expense if only for the peace of mind.

On your site you asked people to send in pictures of their installations. Pictures of my installation are attached. I built a valve system to bypass the softener if needed for repair or removal. I used hoses to attach the house system to the softener so I would have some flexibility in placement.
We like the system very much. Thank you for your help. We are very please with the performance and that we now have soft water. The price was great and the system arrived in two days! Thanks again for your help. Thanks.

Hello, The softener is working fine. Attached is an image of my installation. All work was done by me. The filtration manifold was my first real project using copper sweat fittings. As I learned many years ago in the welding trade, good surface preparation makes the rest go easy.

Gentlemen, I got your follow up letter and just wanted you to know that the system is working as advertised. The nitrate level in my well water was 12.2 and now with my new system it reports out at 2.5. My original installation created a loud noise when flushing and draining. I call for help and got a suggestion to move the line closer to the P trap and it solved the problem.
All in all...very happy! Ron

Thank you for producing a great product and providing quick service and delivery. I received my new 40,000 grain Fleck 5600SE water softener two weeks ago. This unit replaced an undersized and poor performing Kenmore softener.
The Fleck unit has more than adequate capacity and has completed one regeneration cycle successfully. This may sound trivial but the old Kenmore softener was unreliable and required much attention to complete consistent regeneration cycles. Thank you again for selling a great product.

We are 1000% totally pleased with our new reverse osmosis unit, thank you very much! I was privileged to see a friend's unit in southern Florida last fall and I knew right then and there it was exactly what I was looking for. I am sick and tired of owning and working on Sears/Culligan units.
When I got home from my Florida trip, and was financially able, I got in touch with you folks and ordered my unit. It was everything you said it was and so much more. It only cost a tiny bit more than units which do not even compare with your's.
1. This is a serious unit. (Nothing light-duty here) 2. Your advice is concise and exact. (You DO NOT try to sell the customer something they do not need or want) 3. The unit was easy to install, especially with the printable instructions, the included instructions, and the ability to call you folks toll free and receive nice, polite, courteous answers. It worked perfectly right from the start: No leaks, no noises, and just good, filtered, softened water almost immediately! 4. The unit is attractive and yet it looks "industrial". It doesn't look like some sort of disguised light-duty appliance. 5. It looks serious, it works seriously, and I expect that it will give long, serious service. The one my friend in Florida owned had made him very, very happy. When Charles told me this unit "WOULD" give me long, trouble-free service I believed him. (I still do) I am proud of this unit, I feel that it was money well-spent, I have recommended it to everyone I can and I always will, and when/if I ever need to replace it there will be no doubt I WILL buy another one. Compared to your product, everything else appears to be a waste of money! Thank you for a quality product!
