Ohio Pure Water’s customer service is prompt via email or phone. CK is very knowledgeable, helpful and patient.
He is willing to talk you through the installation process, but you need to have at least some basic plumbing knowledge (mine is pretty basic, e.g. I know what a copper pipe looks like).
CK set me up with a 48,000 grain unit for $400 LESS than what a local plumber was going to sell me a 32,000 grain unit. The new unit was delivered to the house via a freight truck with a lift gate and was all set up and ready to install.
Would I purchase from Ohio Pure Water again? Yes!
My recommendation is, get your water tested and send the results (water hardness in grains per gallon and total dissolved solids, TDS) to CK and he’ll set you up with the proper softener.
The softener has been working great… my whole family can notice the difference between the new softener compared to the old.

Unfortunately I had to rip out all of the PVC where it came into the garage and replace with CPVC to comply with San Antonio code (never saw the requirement in the plumbing code on the city website).
